Amanda Young is one of our newest members and currently resides in St. Catherines, ON. She has been working in the Holistic Nutrition field for 1 year.
Amanda found her passion when she was diagnosed with two Auto-Immune Diseases; Celiac Disease, and Hypothyroidism (Hoshimotos) and turned to discovered Alternative Medicine and Holistic Health. She was also diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Amanda became aware of how much nutrition and lifestyle choices can impact ones health.
She was so inspired by her own research on alternative medicine and holistic health that she began studying Holistic Nutrition. She currently holds designations as a Registered Holistic Nutrition Practitioner, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Registered Nutritional Counselor, and Certified Holistic Nutrition and Health Coach.
Amanda specialises in Auto-Immune conditions, gut health, allergy/intolerance sensitive diets, and Holistic remedies such as essential oils products.
One of Amanda's most popular (and delicious) snacks is shared with you below:
Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Haystacks
In a small pan on med / low heat melt and stir together coconut oil, honey and cocoa powder. Once mixed, remove from heat and stir in collagen, peanut butter, salt, vanilla, and coconut. Drop into mounds and place in refrigerator for 1 hour. These can be stored up to a week in the refrigerator.
