About This Coverage

The Canadian Association for Integrative Nutrition provides it's members with special group discounted comprehensive insurance coverage rates throughout Canada and the USA.  The policy can include both Errors and Omissions Insurance (E&O) and Commercial General Liability (CGL).  We have a great team that is available to address any of your questions and concerns.

Errors & Omissions Liability Coverage

Professional Liability/Errors & Omissions insurance provides protection for any loss sustained because of the rendering or failure to render professional services. ​

Commercial General Liability Insurance

Commercial General Liability is for practitioners who meet their clients face-to-face and / or have a bricks and mortar location. It provides coverage for bodily injury or property damage to a third party. Commercial General Liability (CGL)  does not include coverage for any professional services listed above for Errors & Omissions and must be purchased in conjunction with the E&O coverage.
CGL is a non-mandatory ad-on (see additional extension coverage below). ​

Additional Coverage Options
You can coverage for an additional premium for the following services:
  • Licensed Aroma therapist (which includes the selling of non-ingestible third party products)
  • Licensed Hypnotherapist
  • Yoga/Pilates/Stretching/Meditation Qualified Instructors (coverage extends to participants liability when​ Commercial General Liability is purchased)
  • Business Coaching (for example: specialists in LinkedIn leads/sales generation)
  • ​Massage Therapy
  • International Coverage Ad-on - If you receive over 15% of your income outside of Canada you can add extra coverage to include up to 50% of your income. (Base coverage above covers up to 15% of your business income outside of Canada.)

Should you require a more specialized coverage plan, our insurance team will work with you to get the best possible coverage at special membership rates.

Terms:
The policy period is one year. The policy renews each year on the anniversary of your original purchase.

​You must be a member in good standing with The Canadian Association for Integrative Nutrition to be eligible to purchase and hold the CAIN group discounted coverage.  Proof of membership is required.

This coverage and pricing assumes an income of $150,000 and under with no previous CGO or E&O claims.  Pricing is subject to change based on different parameters.
