Lifelong learning is an integral part of a profession in Holistic Nutrition and Health Coaching services in Canada.  

All members of CAIN are required to earn a minimum of 20 continuing education credits each year for the first 5 consecutive years, and thereafter, will be required to complete 10 continuing education credits per year to maintain membership status and hold their designations. 

By becoming an approved program with CAIN you gain direct access to our members.  This enables you to offer your courses, and / or educational sessions on products and services to a target market of health professionals looking to further their knowledge base and grow their practices.

Specialized Education

Educational institutions and independent educators may apply to partner with CAIN to have their courses that fall outside of the Holistic Nutritionist and Health Coach approved programs, offered for Continuing Education Credits.  Courses must be industry relevant and be geared towards professional advancement.  

Some course topics may include, but are not limited to business topics, law, health and nutrition specializations, cooking classes, fitness, social media, blogging and marketing, lab diagnostics, client management, Ayurvedic studies, essential oils, speciality meal planning, homeopathy, aromatherapy, medical conditions, chinese medicine, herbal remedies etc.

  • Fees are due every third year but a renewal application is required annually.
  • If you are applying for multiple courses at once, you may add all course hours together and select the appropriate hours category based on total combined hours. 
  • Pricing is in Canadian dollars. 
All programs are subject to a full review prior to being accepted. This includes but it not limited to online access if web based and a list of course materials, outline, description of assignments, case studies, practicum hours, testing etc.
If  your program is approved, your course will be posted on our public "Approved CE Courses" site, the member area, social media and a notification will go out via newsletter once in addition to the welcome campaign for all new members.

If you also wish to be a discount partner, you will be added to discount partners page and appropriate emails. 

NOTE: If you are applying to become a CAIN Approved School, you can have your additional courses approved for CE Credits at 50% off, if you apply within the same year your nutrition or health coaching course is approved.  

Product & Service Educational Sessions

 Our members are always asking for advice on which business tools, supplements, and products we recommend.  The need for product and service knowledge is a constant conversation with our members.  A great way to reach them is by providing an educational session.  These courses must provide no less than a 80% learning component related to their field and up to a maximum of 20% product sales.

​The topics must be relevant to our member community and are subject to review and approval prior to being presented.
Please note that we will not accept a full sales session and the split must be strictly adhered to.

You may teach this course for no fee if you offer a discount of 10% or more to our members.  The discount must be in effect for a minimum of one year from the info session.  This discount does not get shared with the public and is a member perk only.  This is our most popular option as it benefits everyone involved.

One Time Events & Publications
